Dear Dreams….I thank you.. I appreciate you
This is my letter to you to thank you and to tell you how grateful and appreciative I am for you. It wasn’t about capturing you it was about the pursuit and the things that I had to go through to reach you, which is what made you even more worth the chase. When those people around me doubted my ability to catch you I just laughed because they were simply wishing their own fate and lack of conviction on me. I pray for them because I’m going to have to be nice to them when they riding my coattail later. Anyway, I can’t say thank you enough for the smile thats stuck on my face and the love that’s glued to my heart because this has been such a trying journey, my knees wore out, my faith depleted, my confidence dried and I was almost overcome by the monster known as failure but through my visions, Lord Jesus Christ and my belief in self I was able to refill all those empty cups within…Now here I am standing at your door again, but this time with the keys in my hand. Only difference is the door is unlocked for me. In short the go through to get through is the dream, everything else after are simply perks. What a beautiful struggle.
Freedom is a much trumpted word and the more it is declared, the fewer there are who seem to understand what it really is
Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning.
